When asked what she loves most about her role as Sacramental Coordinator, Kelly Kmiecik replies without hesitation, “The people!” Her and her husband, Scott and their three children joined Sacred Heart in 2006 and Kelly began working in 2007 as the School of Religion Assistant. Consecrating herself to the Blessed Mother through the 33 Days to Morning Glory book study in 2014 had an integral part in her accepting her current role. She felt the Blessed Mother nudging her to lead and share her Catholic faith to our young Catholics and parents as they prepare for the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. Kelly has truly enjoyed working with the children and families as they continue on their faith journeys.
Growing up in rural Nebraska, Kelly brings the “country” into her city surroundings by her love of gardening, canning and raising chickens. Kelly’s favorite scripture is from Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others.”
