Your Brother in Christ (YBiC)

What We Do:
The Your Brother’s in Christ, Kansas City ministry (YBiCKC) embraces and supports the invitation all men have to grow closer in relationship to Jesus Christ. Our goal is to meet men where they are in their faith journey, providing support in prayer, education in the faith and providing service to others, all while promoting the universal church and Sacred Heart Of Jesus.

YBiC delivers on this commitment through a combination of approaches. We meet every quarter for fellowship with guest speakers at church, social events like movies or sporting events, or other group activities that range from ‘men only’ to family events.  We also extend outreach through social media resources such as our web site (, Facebook and Twitter, which are updated multiple times a week. In an effort to accommodate your busy schedules, the social media can be used as a digital resource to connect seekers and gatherers of information on Catholic living, by seeking further understanding of the word of God as revealed through Sacred Scripture, by sharing national discussions around Catechesis, and by faith witnessing shared through a narrative format.

Serving Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the community as a whole is another aspect of what we offer through the YBiC.  Harvesters, Catholic Charities, and Shalom Homeless Shelter for Men are just some of the service opportunities we provide monthly.
