Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a process used by Catholic parishes to welcome and prepare adults who are exploring becoming Catholic (or if already Catholic, completing their Sacraments of Initiation).
- Those who are unbaptized are welcome to enter the OCIA process whenever they feel the call to take this next step in their faith journey.
- Those who are already baptized in another Christian tradition may also enter OCIA at any time as they prepare for full communion with the Catholic Church.
- Catholics who have not yet completed their Sacraments of Initiation are warmly invited to join us as well — we would be honored to accompany you as you continue your journey of faith.

Are You a Returning Catholic? Come Home!
No matter how long you have been away from the Church, you can always come home. Some returning Catholics find OCIA helpful as a way to reconnect with the teachings of the Church and to re-immerse themselves in parish life. For many, returning home begins simply with the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
