Pillar of Service

“If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.”  John 13:14-15

Stewardship is a way of life, and service is at the heart of it. The Pillar of Service invites parishioners to serve others in need at Sacred Heart, in our local community, and around the world.

These service opportunities give parishioners the chance to give back to God and His people, which is what we are called to do as disciples of Christ. As a stewardship community, we gratefully serve those who are in need through corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. The Pillar of Service offers families the opportunity to teach children the importance of stewardship and serving with a grateful heart. Everyone has gifts to share, and God asks us to use them.
