My final day on retreat ended in grand fashion. I traveled to St. John Indiana, about an hour and a half from from where I am staying, to the Shrine of Christ’s Passion. This was my first time in the great state of Indiana, and the Shrine would be my “first” impression. On that note, job well done Diocese of Gary! The Shrine is an intense walk through the stations of the cross. The first video was Jesus falling the third time, the second is the crucifixion. The narrator does a great job immersing the pilgrim in the scene. I took pictures at each station as well. After the fourteenth station, there are several post Resurrection areas to venerate; ending with the Ascension. Finally, the tour ends at St. John the Evangelist parish; I took some pics there as well. Thanks for all your prayers! Fr. Pat
