Youth Faith Formation
Sacred Heart of Jesus is committed to forming disciples, strengthening families, and helping children grow in the Catholic faith.
We offer two faith formation options for families with children:
Option 1: Home Church Project (Family Formation) – A family-based faith formation model
The Home Church Project is designed for families who want to grow in faith together at home while staying connected to the parish community. Parents take an active role in guiding their children’s faith journey with support from Sacred Heart.
Who is it for? Families with children ages 1 year old through 6th grade
Begins: Sunday, October 4, 2026
Schedule:
- One in-person parish lesson each month
- Sundays from 5:30–7:00pm (tentative)
- One community event each month
HOME CHURCH PROJECT REGISTRATION
Option 2: School of Religion (SOR) – A traditional classroom-based model
The School of Religion offers weekly classroom faith formation for parish children who attend public school or homeschool.
Who is it for? Students Kindergarten through 5th grade
Begins: Wednesday, September 9, 2026
Schedule: Wednesdays from 4:30–5:45pm
